Lauren Johnson
Lauren Johnson was born in The Berkshires where she began her creative pursuits in the woods making stick forts and naming frogs. After an entire bottle of spray detangler, she went on to study Fine Art and Creative Writing at Simon’s Rock College, and earned her B.A. degree from Bard College in New York. She began illustrating short fiction pieces in school, and more recently ventured into doll and figure making with the idea of using them in photo illustration for her stories. She currently lives in New Jersey in a much bigger adult stick fort with Dan Hicks, who is not an amphibian.
