Reuben Breslar is a third culture kid who currently resides in Philadelphia. He makes art that deals with issues of Time, Origin, Otherness, Cultural Transmission, and the Collective Unconscious. Works include drawings, paintings, photographs, digital images, collages, and installations. Reuben treats artmaking as an experiment and catalogues his human experiences as trials. His method aims largely to exploit the psychology of perception and the fragility of sentimental behavior.
